A strong mineral acid supplied at the standard commercial concentration. It fumes in air, so drums must be kept closed and decanting done under extraction or in the open.

Corrosive to most metals and to skin and eyes on contact. Dilute by adding acid to water, slowly, with stirring. Never mix with hypochlorite or any bleach: chlorine gas is released immediately.

Store below 25°C, away from alkalis, oxidisers and metals. Use only PVC, PP or HDPE fittings.
